Having been in the family for 46 years and with many happy memories, this property is very special to us.

During the 8 years we have lived here together, we have fully decorated and modernised it including new bathroom, kitchen, block-paved driveway and boiler, along with the installation of a real log burner.  However, we have made an effort to retain some of the original features such as the original 1930s doors, bay windows and alcoves.

It is a very spacious property with an extended kitchen and a huge garden. It also has everything on its doorstep - local schools, public transport, doctors, dentists, shops and supermarkets all within walking distance and with easy access to both Solihull and Birmingham.  Although our needs have obviously changed, we have found the convenience so useful, both as a young married couple and now as parents.  We will particularly miss the quick walk round to Elmdon Park; we have spent many hours here both with our own children and as children ourselves having both grown up in the area, and it is undoubtedly one of the nicest parks in Solihull!

Although we are now ready for a new adventure with our three boys (the third generation to live here!), we will be sad to say goodbye.  It is a wonderful home and we will miss it very much, but are certain that it will bring as much happiness to its new owners as it has to us.
